THAT’S A WRAP: FILM REVIEW

Tara Berrett brings in a hilarious satire with her film, “That’s a Wrap.” Everyone who has worked on a movie set could appreciate this workplace comedy, from the above-the-line players, actors, crew, crafty, and background extras. The film allowed each character to shine in their own distinct way amongst the widespread chaos on set. This ensemble cast did an excellent job bringing the exaggerated stereotypes to each of their characters. While we only get a glimpse of each character's life, it is clear that each actor knew their character’s backstory through and through.

“That’s a Wrap” keeps you engaged as it does a good job bouncing back and forth between all the drama that ensues behind the screen. While the comedy was shot mockumentary style, the production quality during the “cinematic” bits (where you would see what the camera sees) were professionally done, which further added to the comedy of it all.

Whatever your experience is on set, you’re bound to appreciate this funny love-letter to the industry!
