LAW OF 100: FILM REVIEW

Cooper Home Entertainment well illustrates the harsh perspective of human behavior in their film “Law of 100.” The film follows Alexander who is on a routine scout and offers a glimpse into the cruel world of a civilization in shambles. With only 100 people at a time allowed in his camp, Alexander must face a difficult decision when he comes across two starving children.

As the story explores more about the world through Alexander, the film contrasts the inner-dialogue with compelling action scenes to demonstrate the dangerous life he lives. What the film captured well were the blurred lines between right and wrong. There was no main antagonist or villain, but rather contradicting beliefs between groups that leave an open-ended discussion to be had for audience members.

Alongside its compelling premise, the film’s noteworthy cinematography and film score beautifully drove the story’s somber tone. “Law of 100” is a thought-provoking cautionary tale that opens the door for an interesting and expansive world!
